Moto Superstar Robbie Maddison and Bliss n Eso Fly with Jetpack America

When Robbie Maddison saw the pre-Flugtag jetpack flight performance by Jetpack America instructors Josh Hanson and Chris Herman, he knew he had to give it a try himself, so we coordinated a time for him and his Australian buddies from rock/rap group Bliss n’ Eso to come out a few weeks later as part of their North American tour and filming for their latest music video, “My Life”.

Robbie is no stranger to adventure and extreme sports, having set multiple world records on his motorcycle, including several distance jump records of 300+ feet. Not surprisingly, he picked up the jetpack, which is essentially a water-powered flying motorcycle, right away. Within minutes, he was 25+ feet in the air, maneuvering it like he’d been doing it his whole life.

The Bliss n’ Eso guys were not quite as natural at it, but they were still very proficient for their first flights, having an absolute blast with the submarines and drop-outs.

See the link below to see the behind-the-scenes footage from their visit to Jetpack America as part of their “My Life” filming.
