Flying a Jetpack or Jetboard is definitely on a lot of people’s bucket list. It is such unique experience and continues to capture the imagination of people
from all walks of life. Alberta Flyboard is in the business of making people’s flying dreams come true when they strap customers into a flyboard and
power them into the sky. Knowing what a special experience flying a jetpack/jetboard can be and also knowing that it is a great gift to give, Alberta
Flyboard is showing its appreciation to its local law enforcement officers by giving them a day of free flights! ColdLakeSun.com reports on the event:
“Due to recent events, namely those in the United States, there seems to be a lot of publicity towards the law enforcement,” said Ray Cowell, owner of Wicked Watersport Rentals.
“Alberta Flyboard and Wicked Watersport Rentals hope that by hosting a fun and relaxing day on the water by instructing flyboarding, we can say thanks and stand behind our local police services.”
On Aug. 19, participating law enforcement officials will each receive 15 to 20 minutes of free one-on-one instruction with a certified flyboarding instructor. “I’d say it’s something that’s probably on everybody’s bucket list for the main part. It’s definitely not an inexpensive activity, and it’s something that could end up going on the backburner for a lot of these guys,” said Biggar.
“We figured that if we can have some excitement and give them a day to remember to go out and flyboard, then that’s our way of showing our appreciation to them.”
Cheers to Alberta Flyboard for spreading the love and giving out free flights to a group of people that might be in need of a moral boost. Thanks to ColdLakeSun.com
